Kerman – County Library: 3rd Friday of Each Month 1-3 PM
John P. "Phil" Larson was elected to represent District One in November 2002 and was sworn in January 6, 2003. He ran unopposed for re-election in June of 2006 and will begin his new term in January 2007.
| District One is located in western Fresno County and is primarily rural with rich and productive farmland and includes: |
- 5 Cities - Firebaugh, Fresno (westside), Kerman, Mendota, and San Joaquin
- 12 Unincorporated Communities - Biola, Cantua Creek, Dos Palos, Easton, Five Points, Helm, Herndon, Highway City, Mercy Hot Springs, Rolinda, Three Rocks, and Tranquillity.

Supervisor Larson is a lifelong farmer and Fresno County resident. He and his wife Joyce have two children and three grandchildren. Phil is also a United States Marine Corps veteran who achieved the rank of Sergeant E-4 while serving in Korea.
